The Diane's DRESS!

Hannah wanted a wedding gown that was somewhat classic, but still playful and fun. She ultimately chose Morilee Blu Style #5577 to accomplish that look. The extravagant ruffles all over the skirt made the gown so special for her. Perfect for twirling and dancing the night away with her new husband!

Her Diane's Experience

"Shopping at Diane's was an absolute dream. I had visited another bridal store and left somewhat disappointed with the selection available in my size, but I had so many beautiful dresses to choose from at Diane's. I really appreciated that I got to pull some dresses myself, but Janice also used her expertise to pull some in the styles that I was interested in. I also really enjoyed the attention to detail in the store, such as signing a big dress at the front along with other brides who had chosen dresses there, and taking the classic "said yes" picture with a sign! It was just such a fun and easy experience!"

Tell us about your Love!

My husband and I met the good ol' fashioned way (an online dating app!). We only had a couple of dates before the pandemic hit, and then we dated virtually through Skype calls and video games! Because we dated virtually for the first part of our relationship, we became the best of friends, and I think this is why we simply have so much fun with each other no matter where we go or what we do.

We dated for a few years before Zac surprised me with a proposal at our weekly trivia spot surrounded by our friends and family. I thought we had gotten together for a Mother's Day celebration, so despite having lots of loved ones there, I was none the wiser when he was pulled on stage to "read a guest trivia question." It was such a surprise, and the custom ring he designed is something I truly treasure.

The Wedding Day!

We had so much fun on our wedding day! Iron City is such a unique venue since it's traditionally used for concerts. We decided to lean into the venue by having music themed invites, guest books, and a live band! There were so many little details to represent us and our family, such as drinks and cake decorations inspired by our two pups. A special detail that I really enjoyed was having the two silver goblets that my parents used in the toast at their own wedding.

Although we really enjoyed dancing and celebrating with everyone at the reception, the most special part of the day was the ceremony. We wrote our own vows and had a dear friend officiate our wedding. She did such an amazing job that I can't even put it into words. Finally, we closed off the evening with a private dance before leaving for our honeymoon, where we got to continue to live in a dream for the whole week after the wedding! It will truly go down as one of the most special days of our life.
