Mallory & Zane had the most intimate and laid back wedding day of their dreams. Filled with intimate moments and a reception for the ages, this wedding day was a perfect reflection of their relationship.
A little bit goofy, and a whole lot of love!
Their wedding day in Ohatchee, Alabama was held at the Oak Meadow Event Center and was jam-packed with personal touches. Their sweet puppy dogs on their wedding cake, reserved seating for their loved ones who have passed away, and our favorite? - Sharing their own private wedding vows during their first-look. What a beautiful, intimate moment shared between bride and groom before the ceremony!
The DRESS!
Diane's Formal Affair has always been a special place to Mallory, and she is so special to us! She started shopping with us back in high school and purchased all of her prom and pageant dresses from our store Diane's Too! She exudes beauty and grace in everything she does and it was an absolute honor to help her find her dream wedding dress for her special day.
"I started shopping at Diane's in high school for my prom and pageant dresses. I always loved how they had the most unique dresses and had a wide range of gowns in each size. The Vibe - Being a former pageant queen - Mallory wanted something completely different than she had ever worn before for her wedding gown. What she thought would be a tough process, was rather quite simple as she chose the FIRST wedding gown she tried on! This Private Label gown from our store features a dramatic pointed neckline, dreamy lace appliques, and the most unbelievable train you've ever seen. It made Mallory feel truly royal on her wedding day! - We couldn't agree more!
The Proposal
Mallory and Zane have what she likes to call the "modern day love story" They were both from small towns not too far from each other. Zane sent her a gif message on instagram of a kid sliding down a slide. Some may say he 'slid' into her DM's & the rest is history!
Key West was one of Mallory's most favorite places as a child. Zane took Mallory back to experience it as an adult & decided to pop the question there!
"One night we went to this beautiful restaurant, Latitudes, located on a private island just off the coast of Key West. After the amazing meal, we decided to take a walk on the Island. As Zane and I are walking, I notice him doing something crazy (which if you know Zane, that's nothing out of the normal) and when I turned around he was on one knee.. I hear the words "will you marry me" and all i can get out is "you are lying". I eventually realize he is being for-real, so of course my answer was YES!"
The Wedding Day
Mallory & Zane's wedding day was classy and elegant with a little bit of sass. It was truly a reflection of them. All white flowers, in a beautiful white barn; black bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos rounded out a stunning wedding party. You can feel the love Mallory and Zane have for each other radiating throughout their photos. Their goofy personalities transitioned well into the laid back vibe they wanted for their day. The meaningful wedding ceremony, transitioned to the reception party of a lifetime! Their day was nothing short of incredible!
